Naloxone Access in Rialto and San Bernardino County

Naloxone nasal spray is sold over the counter in California with no prescription. The state’s CalRx two-pack sells for $19, while other formulations, including intramuscular naloxone, still require a prescription(CalRx, current as of 2026).

Inland Empire Harm Reduction at (951) 364-5311 is an organization that provides naloxone and overdose response training free of charge to people in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties.  Another important harm reduction measure is California Civil Code section 1714.22. How do I get to a meeting without a car?

Rialto sits on Metrolink’s San Bernardino Line. It connects the city with communities east and west along the valley. In Addition, the local bus service runs through the city.

NA members often arrange rides. You can ask someone at a meeting or call the area helpline at (909) 370-3568. If you can’t find a ride, an online meeting removes the trip altogether.

Are NA meetings free?

Yes. NA has no dues or fees. Members pass a basket for voluntary contributions toward rent and literature. Nobody is expected to give anything. There is no membership form or cost to attend.
