Palo Alto offers a couple of local Narcotics Anonymous groups, giving residents a few options nearby. The schedule is fairly limited, so you’ll likely need to look in nearby communities for more times or formats. For example, people in this part of Santa Clara County will often drive to San Jose for more nights to choose from or a meeting that fits their particular schedule.

What an NA Meeting is Like

An NA meeting is a free gathering of people who want to stay clean.

Open meetings welcome anyone curious, including family members. Conversely, closed meetings are for people who want to stop using. Some meetings feature a speaker sharing their experience, some are open discussion and others work through the 12 steps as a group.

There is no set clean time requirement to attend. A newcomer can sit, listen and leave without even giving your name. Meetings are free to attend and don’t require you to sign up or register.
