San Mateo is located in San Mateo County, California. The city which is south of San Francisco, northwest of San Jose, and is known for its rich history, unfortunately, is home to a good number of persons who struggle with the dangers of drug addiction and substance use disorders. These individuals are forced to live a substandard life which affects their interactions with friends and associates and reduces their work productivity. Because of this, Narcotics Anonymous(NA) has decided to set up NA meetings San Mateo CA. These meetings serve as a way for victims to connect, share stories and also learn from the experiences of others. The meeting environment is welcoming and participants are not judged by their past or present actions. Members who have recovered from drug addiction create support groups to assist those who currently suffer from it. Narcotics Anonymous uses a 12-step approach to assist victims from the treatment stage to full recovery. Treatment is usually carried out in an inpatient or outpatient facility and is followed by counseling and therapy.
