Linthicum is a community officially designated as Linthicum Heights in Anne Arundel County in Maryland. It is located near the city of Baltimore. A railway station existed here by the name of Linthicum before the town was founded in 1908 when the ‘Linthicum Heights Company’ was founded. A local landowning family gave its name to all these things. Linthicum is divided in two by the Baltimore Beltway, usually called Linthicum and North Linthicum.
