Fort Worth has the largest set of NA meetings in Tarrant County. Where to Get Naloxone in Tarrant County

Naloxone, an important harm reduction tool, reverses an opioid overdose within minutes and does nothing if opioids are not involved.

Texas House Bill 1694, the Jessica Sosa Act, in effect since 1 September 2021, gives a limited legal defense, not immunity, to a person who is the first to call 911 during an overdose and also remains at the scene. Keep in mind that certain conditions cancel this protection, such as a prior drug conviction or probation.
