NA Meetings in Marysville

Marysville supports a handful of Narcotics Anonymous groups that meet throughout the week. Although Marysville is a relatively small area, it still offers a reliable schedule of meetings throughout the week.

Meetings are offered in open and closed formats, along with discussion and step study meetings. The schedule above reflects what is running right now.  Groups may change, so as they shift and the list shifts with them.

When the meeting schedule doesn’t line up with your week, Everett and Seattle offer more groups and meeting times. In fact, plenty of people in Marysville drive to one or the other for a meeting that fits their day.

What an NA Meeting Is Like

Knowing a little more about what to expect at an NA meeting can help reduce the stress of taking that first step.

An open meeting welcomes anyone curious about recovery, including family members, whereas a closed meeting is for people who want to stop using. Meetings are also offered in different formats, such as a speaker meeting where one person shares their story.  A discussion meeting passes the conversation around the room, and a step study works through Narcotics Anonymous‘s twelve steps in detail.

You are never required to speak at a meeting, and you don’t even have to introduce yourself if you don’t want to.  NA meetings are peer facilitated, free and don’t require registration or even a requirement to be clean before coming. It’s not uncommon for someone to attend an NA meeting while still using or straight out of detox.

Along with NA, there are other support groups that people in Marysville also use.

Getting to a Meeting Here

Because Marysville’s location is north of Everett on I-5, getting to a meeting here or in Everett usually takes a vehicle, which is easier than relying on the local transit system. If you can’t find one that fits your schedule or you’d rather stay home, an online meeting is a viable option.
