NA Meetings in Woodbridge, New Jersey

Woodbridge is home to one NA meeting. This schedule is limited compared to some of New Jersey’s busier hubs. So residents here often supplement their options with a trip to a nearby city that offers more meetings.

New Brunswick is close by and has more groups that meet on a variety of days. This is probably your easiest option if the Woodbridge meeting doesn’t work for your schedule. Online meetings are also available.

What an NA Meeting Is Like

NA meetings are free and low pressure. That means you don’t have to pay anything or say anything.

Depending on the format, the meeting will run in one of several ways. Step studies walk you through the 12 Steps of NA with a sponsor. Discussion meetings talk through a specific topic each week. And speaker meetings allow one person to share their story.

Each of these formats can also be closed or open. Closed meetings are only for individuals who want to stop using drugs (or already have). Open meetings welcome anyone, including family members who want to learn more or attend to support you.

The Narcotics Anonymous page provides more details on how the fellowship works.

Other Support Groups

This support groups page is a good next read for family members looking for their own meeting, such as Nar-Anon. You can also find alternatives to NA if you’d prefer a different peer support structure than this program offers.

Where do calls go?

By calling the helpline you agree to the terms of use. We do not receive any commission or fee that is dependent upon which treatment provider a caller chooses. There is no obligation to enter treatment.

Calls to numbers on a specific treatment center listing will be routed to that treatment center. Calls to any general helpline could be forwarded to SAMHSA or a verified treatment provider.

If you wish to connect with non-sponsor centers, you can browse meetings, visit our homepage and browse by state, or visit SAMHSA.
