There are two basic types of NA meetings in Watertown. The discussion format is the most popular, and is often the more informal of the two. Attendees share personal stories of substance use disorder and the experiences that led them to become sober. The speaker meetings are more formal, with a speaker who stands up in front of the group and talks about their experience with substance abuse. Regardless of which type of meeting you attend, everyone is welcome. Some NA groups hold open meetings that allow non-members to attend. During these meetings, those in recovery or who have recovered celebrate their recovery anniversaries with their fellow NA members. These meetings are an excellent opportunity to talk to fellow attendees about the challenges of substance use disorder and its effects. You may also be able to find a sponsor who can guide you through the NA program. During these open meetings, you can find out more about the benefits of attending an NA meeting in Watertown. You’ll soon find that these events are a great way to start a new life. Browse our directory to find NA meetings in Massachusetts that are suitable for you.
